We are constituents — people who care about this place and the people in it. Across the UK people are already taking action for nature, through conservation projects, donations, and awareness-raising.
But we can’t do it alone. We need practical leadership — including delivering vital funding to help those most affected, restoring nature to protect our future, and investing in fair solutions. We’re looking to our MPs to be our voice in parliament for practical solutions. It’s not only the right thing to do — it helps create a fairer, more stable and resilient future for everyone.
We’re heading to London on 9 July to ask our MPs to stand up for peatlands, which deliver vital carbon storage, flood resilience, and support for biodiversity. The longer we delay a legislative end to peat sales, the more peat is dug up: it’s that simple. Taking decisive action now creates a level playing field for the horticultural industry, keeps peat in the ground, and lets us celebrate peatland restoration without it being undermined elsewhere. We’ve been talking about it for years. The time is now to deliver legislation to end peat sales – no more waiting.
The public is ready. Now we’re asking our MPs to stand with us — and help shape a future that’s healthier, fairer and more secure for all. Let’s Act Now and Change Forever.
